How to Book Flights to Bhutan – Druk Air & Bhutan Airlines Tickets

Cancellation/Refund policy – Bhutan Flights
Airline refund policies depend on the ticket type. Refund processing begins when the airline receives the cancellation notice, so delays may occur. Seats can be reserved with a ticketing date and extended until the flight is full. Once tickets are issued, date changes are allowed up to 7 days before departure for a US $10 fee (economy class), while business class changes are free. If a ticket is issued, rerouting is allowed once, but the ticket becomes non-reroutable and non-refundable after that. Route changes to a lower fare incur a US $25 fee, while changes to a higher fare are free.
Both Druk Air and Bhutan Airlines can change flight times without notice and are not responsible for any impact on your international connections. We will assist with cancellations and rebooking, but final approval is up to the airline.
Drukair
For tickets booked through Drukair, you may cancel and receive a refund, subject to terms and conditions based on the ticket type:
• 90% refund for cancellations 30 days before departure.
• 75% refund for cancellations 9 days before departure.
• 50% refund for cancellations 4 days before departure.
• No refund for rescheduled or penalty-levied tickets.
• Ticket rescheduling fee: USD 25 per ticket.
• No refund for No-Show tickets.
• No refund for changes in travel sector; however, any fare difference will be charged.
Bhutan Airlines
The current refund policy for Tashi Air as of June 2017 is as follows:
• 100% refund for tickets cancelled 30 days or more before the date of travel
• 75% refund for tickets cancelled between 29 days and 10 days before the date of travel
• 50% refund permitted for tickets cancelled between 9 days and 4 days before the date of travel
• No refund for tickets cancelled 3 days or less before the date of travel
• In each case an administration charge of US$25 applies
